Website information

Daftdog is the trading name of Ryan Savage, a sole trader. Contact woof@daftdog.studio or 07812 076334.

Privacy & enquiries

Ryan Savage, trading as Daftdog, is responsible for the personal information you share with the studio. The contact form asks for your name, email address and message so Ryan can respond and discuss your project. Please do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.

When you request a quote or work, your details are used to take the steps you have requested before entering a contract and, where relevant, to deliver that contract. Other enquiries are handled on the basis of the studio’s legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing.

Where your information goes

Netlify receives and stores form submissions and filters them for spam. It sends enquiry notifications to the studio’s Microsoft 365 inbox, supplied through GoDaddy. The website is hosted by OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare. Hosting and email providers also process technical information, such as IP addresses, request times and browser details, to deliver and protect their services.

These providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their data-processing terms describe the safeguards for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses and relevant UK provisions. You can read Netlify’s data-processing information and Microsoft’s data-protection terms, or contact Ryan for more information about the providers used.

Keeping your information

Enquiry information is kept for as long as needed to respond, manage potential or agreed work, meet legal obligations or deal with legal claims. How long this is depends on whether the enquiry becomes a project and the records that need to be retained. Information no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised.

Your choices & rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or ask for its use to be restricted. Depending on the circumstances, you may also have a right to receive a portable copy. These rights are subject to the applicable legal conditions.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email woof@daftdog.studio to make a request or raise a privacy concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Providing enquiry details is optional, but Ryan needs a way to reply. If you prefer not to use the form, you can email or call instead.

Cookies & browser storage

The site code does not include advertising or analytics trackers. It uses browser session storage to remember that you have entered the site, so the welcome screen does not repeat during that tab’s session. Hosting and security services may use essential storage to keep the website working and prevent abuse.

Work & website content

Client names, logos and project materials remain the property of their respective owners. Portfolio examples are presented for illustration; their inclusion does not imply an endorsement. Please ask before reproducing site content.

Website descriptions are an introduction to the studio, not a quotation or an agreement to provide services. Project scope, fees, rights and delivery terms are agreed separately in writing.

Accessibility

On supported phones, tilting the device gently adds depth to the hero illustrations. Your browser may ask for motion access after you tap the page. Sensor readings stay on your device and are not stored or sent anywhere. This effect pauses when the scene is off screen and is disabled by your device’s reduced-motion setting.

The site supports keyboard navigation and your device’s reduced-motion preference. If you have trouble accessing anything, please contact Ryan by email or phone and describe the issue.
